Insulation Installer
Job Overview
As a construction laborer, you will focus on installing insulation (fiberglass or rock wool batts) to exterior walls and ceilings. Your day-to-day “office” won’t always look the same! However, you can count on the process to provide some consistency:
Loading and logging materials onto a truck
Erect scaffolding or ladders to height needed
Cut the insulation materials to size and install in frames, ceilings, attics or crawlspaces
Installing insulation materials by stapling, gluing, wiring, nailing or operating equipment that injects loose-fill or foamed
insulation
May be required to drive a company vehicle. If so, follow all driving rules and DOT requirements at all times and maintain your
tools/truck
Observe job site safety rules and know the location of the MSDS packets in your vehicle
To Be Successful
High School diploma or GED
Maintain a valid driver’s license
Experience in the construction industry
For Your Safety
Use common hand tools
Work in tight places including attics and crawlspaces
Lift a minimum of 50lbs
Climb ladders and scaffolding
Able to bend, twist, and turn body at shoulders, waist, knees
As an auto mechanic you will maintain all company vehicles by inspecting and testing, completing preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation, wheel balancing, replacing filters and brakes. In addition, you will:
Maintain vehicle records by recording service and repairs
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
To Be Successful
High School Diploma or GED
1-3 years of strong automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem -solving and repair experience
Valid Driver’s License
For Your Safety
The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing, walking, recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching or similar activities, and lifting a minimum of 50lbs assisted or unassisted.
As a warehouse team member, you will be assisting with daily operations of the warehouse including receiving and sorting materials for installation crews. Your work day will also consist of, but not be limited to:
Tracking and maintaining neat and organized inventory to ensure warehouse is safe and accessible and complies with OSHA
guidelines
General maintenance which includes, but not limited to:
Sweeping/Mopping/Vacuuming as necessary
Cleaning trucks (both inside and out)
Maintaining parking and lawn areas
Administrative work as needed
Operating warehouse equipment, including forklift to place products and materials in proper place
To Be Successful
High School Diploma or GED preferred
1-2 years’ experience in a warehouse setting or construction industry preferred
Forklift Certified a plus
